Writing a timeline and history of a 15 year old software project took a bit more work that I thought it would. Thank goodness that git remembers everything, and people documented what happened along the way.

By the way, if you think we are missing any FEPs or other milestones, let me know. I noticed that there were other FEPs related to Conversation Containers and Hubzilla, but I was not sure which ones were relevant.

@scott I can only think of FEP-ef61 (nomadic identity for ActivityPub), but it is only supported by Streams/Forte and not by Hubzilla.

Also, a comment regarding FEP-171b. It is based on the implementation of Conversation Containers in Streams. The original document describing Conversation Containers appeared in the streams repository on 2024-02-03:
