There are two primary ways to acquire wealth:
1. Provide value to others, and they compensate you for the value you provide.
2. Take wealth from others, directly or indirectly.
The first makes the world a better place, since value is created and exchanged, and people benefit from that exchange. The second causes suffering and is unjust, and is basically glorified theft, often driven by the corrupting forces of desperation or greed.
